DAS won advanced places at
the Intel Competition for Science and Engineering (for the
Arab world 2011). Haifa Khalid Al-Bassam and Tayma M. Hizam
of DAS won the first place in the social & behavioral field
with the project of the pillow of health seat.
As a result of this wining
and great achievement, Dr. Abdul-Rahman AL-Mudariz, the
General Director of Education in the Eastern Province sent
his congratulation to his royal highness prince Mohammad Bin
Fahed Bin Abdul-Aziz, governor of the Eastern Province, his
deputy his highness prince Jalawi Bin Abdul-Aziz Bin Musaed
and to his highness prince Faisal Bin Abdulla, Minister of
Education for this accomplishment which expresses the best
investment in our children. He also expressed his
appreciation to all who encouraged, supported and provided
the facilities and technology that contributed to develop a
creative generation that uses creative thinking skillfully.
Dr. Al-Mudairis described
the winning of these two students as being a source of pride
for our country, as we expect from them and other students
much more. He also congratulated their parents for their
support and help for their children.
Congratulations to our students, and many thanks
to all who supported their efforts from the teachers and
administrations particularly science and math teachers,
supervisors of the scientific projects club, Hana Al-Rabighi
and Khazna Al-Shammari. Thanks also to Salma Raed for her
efforts, follow-up and support for all projects, hoping for
more achievements from the students of our kingdom.
