People to People Leadership Summit

Three Dhahran Ahliyya students attended a summer leadership summit in the U.S. with the People to People Program. Leadership Summits allow students to investigate a specific topic or career interest while building leadership skills, gaining advantage in college preparation, embracing the power of teamwork, and forming friendships with peers from all across the globe.

Maisam Al-Ahmed, Sara Al-Falih and Siba Al-Zamil attended People to People programs this past summer.

Siba says, "It was a great experience. It was the best experience I have had".
Sarah says, "This summer summit has benefited me in an enormous way. Every person I met has left a mark in my heart. I now don’t just consider myself a regular girl, but a leader. This was a life changing experience".

Maisam says, "Though it was only for a week, I benefited from this program in ways I could never have imagined. Through the program's activities and lectures, I literally learned how to look at the bright side of this life, how to uphold my self-esteem, and how to realize my full potential. In this program I learned how to be a leader and most importantly, how to be a leader of my own life and dreams".
