Global Citizenship

The British Council had organized a Global Citizenship contest for all Middle East schools. The 9th graders of our school participated and one group was runner up. The group prepared a powerpoint show on the status of Arab women in the world. The group members were- Shahad Al Bayat, Lama Al Issa, Yara Al Awami, Rawan Al Zamil and Danah Al Mansour. All the groups presented their work on Saturday the 16th of January 2010. The students invited Mrs. Hana'a Al Zuheir , newly appointed board member for The Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to hear from Mrs. Hana'a.
