FIRST Lego League-Open

Europe Championship (FLL2010)

 On Tuesday 3/6/2010, activities of the “FIRST Lego League-Open Europe Championship” FLL2010 were Concluded. Our students on the boys’ side won the 2nd place in the championship among all branches, and the 1st place for the best project among 54 teams participating from five continents. It is worth to mentioning here that our team was nominated for another five awards during the closing ceremony for this championship this being the maximum number of nominations any team is allowed to have. Due to the policy of distributing awards among the largest number of nominated teams, however, we could not have more awards than the ones we got.

We pay tribute to the behavior, interaction and activities of our students in this championship with the other participants. It was really a source of pride and honor for our schools.

This great success could not have been achieved without the integration of the enormous efforts exerted by everyone ; students, parents and DAS employees. Our great thanks are extended to everyone who contributed to this success logistically, morally or physically, and those who provided us with support and continuous encouragement on both sides, girls’ and boys’, especially:
