Colleges and Summer Schools Attended by DAS Students

More than 98% of DAS graduates have gone on to pursue higher studies. They have gained acceptance in many excellent universities including all the major universities in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Bahrain, U.A.E., Lebanon and Egypt. In addition, several students have gone to study in the U.S. attending Harvard, Stanford, M.I.T., Princeton, U.C. Berkley, Williams, Wellesley, Mount Hollyoke, Boston College, Colorado School of Mines, Tufts, University of Southern California, Villanova, Brown and many others. Some graduates have studied at McGill and Concordia in Canada and at Oxford and other universities in the U.K. A few have gone to study medicine at the Universities of Berlin and Vienna while others have gone east to learn Japanese or Chinese and study in universities in those countries.

A number of DAS graduates have done post graduate studies at a number of universities including Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern, and M.I.T. in the U.S., Oxford in the U.K. and A.U.B. in Lebanon.

Many DAS students have also attended summer schools and camps in the U.S. and Europe to help them prepare for college there. Schools attended have included Cushing, Choate, Exeter, Andover, Northfield-Mount Herman and Culver as well as TASIS and various international schools and camps in Europe.
