SCHOOLS' GRADE LEVELS

DAS offers all grade levels, including nursery care for babies and toddlers, three years of pre-school, six of elementary, three of middle school and three of secondary. By Saudi law, boys are mixed with girls only at the pre-school level. First and second grade boys are taught in the girls' school by women teachers but in classes separated from the girls.  From the third grade, boys move to the boys' side of the school where they are taught only by men.
